Otium Cellars is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Do I need to make a reservation for a wine tasting?

Otium Cellars REQUIRES a reservation for groups of 8 or more people and NO LARGER than 12 people. Group reservations are $15.00 per person.  Group reservations include a seated wine tasting, a taste of 7 of our wines and a souvenir wine glass.  A 50% deposit is needed per wine taster.  Deposits are nonrefundable and nontransferable.  To make a reservation, please call 540-338-2027.

Don’t want to do a tasting but have a group larger than 8?

We offer picnic reservations that are $15/person for a 2 hour limit.

We have a group larger than 20, can we still come?

We will not be able to accommodate that large of a group unless you rent out a space. Please see our Rentals page on our website.

Do I need to make a reservation if I will be arriving in a large van, Limousine, or Bus?

YES, Otium Cellars requires a reservation for all hired transportation to ensure we have adequate parking for those vehicles.

Does Otium allow guests to bring in their own food/snacks?

Yes, please check our Events page since we bring in food trucks so please help support the local businesses. We do have cheese, meats, and crackers (gluten free as well) and other snacks available for purchase.

Is Otium Family Friendly?

Otium Cellars is 21 + only at this time.

Is Otium dog friendly?

Friendly, well-manned dogs are permitted outdoors and in our pavilion. Dogs are not permitted in our tasting room or Bavarian room.  Dogs must remain on leash and in your control during your entire visit.  Dogs are not permitted on our outdoor furniture.  Water bowls and dog biscuits are available upon request. Otium Cellars does not have an off-leash area.

Absolutely no alcoholic beverages, other than Otium Cellars wines, are permitted on the property. This is a strict ABC law, and we may ask to inspect your cooler or picnic basket to ensure compliance.

Otium Cellars staff reserves the right to refuse service to anyone appearing intoxicated.

All guests must provide valid identification showing that you are over the age of 21 before being served.
